Hi everyone! I am Łucja and I am running for the position of the Vice President in the UCL Polish Society.

Living 12 years abroad showed me the importance of having a supportive network of people around you. Participating in events organised by Polish embassy abroad, and now being the First Year Representative in the UCL Polish Society helped me assimilate in the new culture and feel supported. Being a part of the Speakers Team in UCL Leaders continued to strengthen my motivation to contribute to our society and build a strong network of mutual respect, support and kindness.

I am determined to help our committee make projects, events and initiatives happen, propose new ideas and provide support for all of you.

I am excited for all of us to continue strengthening the Polish community in the future!

Hi! I’m Karolina, current Marketing Executive and I’m running to be your next Vice President!

Why me?

  • Working at Polish Society and holding multiple leadership roles across career-focused societies at UCL, I believe I possess the necessary organisational skills, knowledge and experience that will help me excel in bringing new initiatives and helping the next President realise their vision for the society. I’m also highly committed to bettering UCL Polish Society in all aspects of its operation. 

If elected I will focus on...

  • Increasing partnerships with firms and alumni outreach to establish a career focus in Polish Society through talks and events focused on career opportunities.  
  • Building a PolSoc website & weekly newsletter to enhance our brand, post important updates and include useful information such as UCL guides, scholarship opportunities etc.
  • Continuing reactivation/building initiatives for @polsoc.london organisation.
  • Introducing more social, cultural & fundraising events in collaboration with Polish organisations and societies across the UK – e.g. Polish Society Ball, Pub Nights & Networking Events.
  • Promoting and aiding in organisation of UCL Leaders Conference 2023.
  • Bringing new Polish Society merch –e.g. tote bags!
