Nature and Conservation Society: Social Secretary

Though I have loved being president this year, I would like to focus more on the social side of the society, and enable members to meet each other via a range of events from pub trips to picnics, and more.

One thing I would like to do is work with other societies involved with the arts, and collaborate with them. For example, campaign placard making/ painting with Art Soc, and screenings with Film Soc. I think art is a lovely way to bring people together. 

I want to organise some overnight trips as we have done in previous years. I have gathered some contacts and there are some really exciting opportunities. 

I’ve been involved with the society committee for nearly three years now, and I am loving it. I think I would be a great asset to next year’s committee.
