Hi everyone! I'm Ines, the current social medical executive for the Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering Society. What this role has taught me is that social media presence is crucial for societies to reach their target audience and encourage prospect members to join. Information about opportunities such as talks with professionals, mentoring opportunities and most importantly, fun events with free food :), get stuck in our Outlook inbox. It is a fact that we don't pay as much attention to our email than to our social media. Therefore, building a platform with quality content in order to encourage members to participate and non-members to join our community is an important role.

In addition, these past months in the social media branch have taught me that I truly have a position for content creation and digital design. What better way to put it to use than to promote our beloved departmental society?
