Dance is undeniably the largest part of our society. From regular dance classes and dance covers to dance competitions and showcases, the K-Pop society has been efficiently organising multiple dance activities. Thanks to the committee and the members I was able to present my talent and express myself freely. Hence, I would like to act as the Dance Captain next year to give back to the society the joy it gave me.
Ever since I was selected as a dance teacher, I have been able to see how satisfied and happy the members were after learning choreographies they thought they would never be able to pull off. I would love to continue being a teacher and even take the next step towards being more proactive at the society. I have a great knack for choosing songs people enjoy and encouraging them to do their best during the classes. Teaching classes has helped me understand the dancers’ various skills, dance formations and how to organise teams. It has also made me quick at learning choreographies. I aim to organise more dance covers and Random Play Dance events (where you can choose any songs you want).
I assure you I will keep the members’ best interests at heart as I manage the competitions and showcases with the help of my team. Arranging weekly classes with the dance teachers and teaching classes myself would be an honour too.
(If you vote for me, I’ll let you choose the songs for the weekly classes. Saranghae ?)
I’ve been doing K-pop dance for more than 4 years, and I know how to support K-pop dancers and what this the dancers’ needs.
My main reason for joining the K-pop society was the fact that there are so many different opportunities to dance and have fun with others. Now, I want to make sure we continue this tradition in the near future. I wish to help the society as a whole by ensuring we give more people the chance to take part in covers, showcases, competitions. Or just have fun with regular random play dance challenges and weekly classes! No matter if you're a casual K-pop fan who occasionally wiggles around or the next main dancer of the society?? I recognize the importance of all these events. They are what makes the society grow faster than ever! My priority is to ensure a friendly, inclusive and supportive environment for all the dancers in the society. I would love to go "behind the scenes" and work with so many people who all share the same passion for dance!
