Camilla Mina

Hey I'm Camilla and I am running for vice president!

I am currently a second-year BSc. Social Sciences student. I decided to nominate myself because I can't wait to work with the president to make sure that the Italian society will be an active society, with exciting activities. I have enjoyed going to the Italian society events and met some amazing friends. Being part of the society is a great way to meet Italian people, have fun and take a break from speaking in English! By getting elected, I will make my best to make everyone feel included and welcomed in the society.

Why you should vote for me?

  • As Vice-President I will make sure everyone feels welcomed in our Italian Community at UCL, also next year's freshers
  • I will closely work with members of the society as well as Committee members to organize new and fun events!
  • I will participate in all the Committee's meetings to make sure that everyone's voice is heard

Grazie mille, Ciao!

Danilo Paganelli

Ciao Tutti! I am Danilo and I would love to be the Vice President for the Italian Society. I have been the Vice President this year for the society and I have loved working with the rest of the committee and I have been so lucky to meet you! Due to being VP this year, I have a lot of experience with running the society and I will be very valuable with the transition between this year and next year’s Italian Society, as I will be the only member of this year’s committee that is still at UCL next year. Next year, I hope to help run many more events such as speed-friendings, more aperitivos, movie nights, club nights, pizza making competitions, trips out and many more events. I also want to help with the language classes to ensure that as many UCL students as possible are able to learn and perfect our beautiful language, and hopefully help open it up to wider members of the community too. I will also help the welfare officer in supporting all of our members so that everyone feels safe and happy in the society. I will be there for you all and help solve any problems, no matter how big or small. I am currently on the committee of a lot of societies, so I have the experience and the dedication, and a lot of connections to create collab events with! I am also hoping to set up a pen pal exchange and a buddy system. I will also collect regular feedback so that we can make the society the very best for our members, because the society means so much to me. I will not let you down!
