Irish and Northern Irish Society: Welfare Officer

Hey! I am Danilo and I would love to be the welfare officer again for the amazing Irish and Northern Irish Society! I will ensure that next year we will have amazing events (such as clubnights, pub events, charity fundraisings, movie nights, speed-friendings and many more!) and collabs with other societies, such as the European Society and the Welsh Society. I am a very caring person and as your welfare officer, I will be there for all members and regularly check in and give resources and support to all members, and ensure that any problems are addressed and that feedback is collected regularly to make the society the very best it can be. I will be there for all members as much as I can and do anything to help with anything I can. I also would love to help organise Irish lessons so that all members have the opportunity to learn this amazing language and help prevent it from extinction. I have been on the committee of 39 societies at UCL this year and this has given me the knowledge and experience of being on a committee, as well as many connections for collabs next year! I will do my best in ensuring that all members are happy and welcomed in the society :)
