Hi there!

I am a current first year Biological Sciences student and also one of the current Events Officers for Immunology Society, so I hope to take on a new one within the society as Secretary in the coming year. My fascination with Immunology lies in its in intersection with psychology, such as in its applications to research into stress and uncovering its role in weakening the immune system. I hope to further explore this interest and many other related ones in the role of Secretary.

I believe this role fits my skillset due to my previous experience as leader of my high school’s Science Society. This position involved directly reaching out to and coordinating the talks of 4 guest speakers, being the main organiser of a large scale science conference in school with 14 student speakers over 2 weeks, and conducting a school-wide science poster fair. The organisational and teamwork skills I formed from this experience would be greatly beneficial in liaising with the President and Vice-President to ensure the society runs smoothly. If elected, I hope to improve the efficiency of the society as a whole, to enable it to further grow within the UCL community.

Thank you for reading and I hope you'll vote for me in the role of Secretary.
