I have only been part of the UCL HR team for a year, however within that time I have become very invested with the teams and the club as a whole. I am a keen rider, and I absolutely adore all the horses on the yard (even Franklin!); my time as second team captain (however brief that now feels) has been incredibly rewarding and I think I've made a good show of it - despite some unforeseen events arising!
Being able to continue riding here has been a great way to help the sadness of having to sell my own horses when I left for university, and I have grown closer to many horses on that yard than the people I share a flat with! - I'll leave you to decide whether that's desperately sad or not...
The team has been the best part of my first year at UCL and I have made some amazing friends (and amazing memories) - I would love to be a part of it next year as well.
