Handball Club: Welfare Officer

I have been the Handball Club´s Welfare Officer for the past two years, I hope to continue the work that I have been doing and show my qualifications and excitement for the position if you would like to have me again!

Hey everyone, this is Toby and I'm running for Welfare Officer in Handball Club!

Although this was only my first year in the handball team at UCL, I already felt a very strong sense of belonging to the club from the matches, trainings and of course also our pub socials. As I see myself continuing to play for the handball team in the coming year, I hope to take up more responsibility in running the club, and becoming the Welfare Officer will be the perfect opportunity for me to achieve this goal.

I believe I am suitable for this role because I am a responsible person committed to serve all club members. I have been actively participating in handball club and team activities this year so I have decent knowledge about the operations of the club. 

If I become the welfare officer, I hope to get more funding for our travels on away games and jerseys. I will also work closely with other committee members to plan activities for all members to ensure that you all have the best experience in the team!

A strength of the team starts among people who know and respect each other.
To effectively play and win games the team needs not only train hard, but communicate perfectly
as well. Due to fact that I am present on most of handball trainings and I am social person
who is always willing to integrate with other team members, I think that I am suitable for every position in our handball club.
