Football Club (Women's): 2nd Team Captain

I am running to be 2nd Team Captain because we are a very strong team and I believe that with my input as captain we can achieve great things! My philosophy is that a strong team off the pitch makes a stronger team on the pitch, so my focus will be on building a greater team community and spirit. I will do this by hosting more team events, such as dinners and parties, and promoting socialising together on matchdays by arranging for the team to travel to matches together, as well as suggesting post-match trips to a café or pub! Furthermore, I will select a study space in a library at UCL so that members of the team can go and study there together. I would be a very reliable Team Captain as I attend most matches, training sessions and socials (even making it to Training Camp with a broken foot!). As Social Media Secretary this year, I have insight into how the club is run and the responsibilities of being on committee. Having stepped in as Captain on a few occasions this season, I understand the role and its responsibilities well too. I like to think that I am easily approachable and I want to make this year a fun and successful one – my aim is for us to win our BUCS league!
