Pierre A Ducroizet-Boitaud

Hi,

my name is Pierre, I am a french epeeist that has been on the men's first team for the past two years. I have been fencing competitively in France and internationally for 10 years now. I believe that with my experience in university fencing along with a practice of fencing in competition at a high level and my solid knowledge of the current men's first team's roaster, I will be able to get the best out of the team and have a good shot at the title at the end of the season !

Giorgi Markhulia

You might be asking yourself why am I applying to the position of the 1st team captain without even being on the first team? well, that is a good question, I have been fencing for most of my life, representing my country Georgia on the national and international levels when I was a cadet, individually and in a team, understanding the essence of teamwork and leadership was vital to the success our team achieved at that time, hence I am applying for this position hoping to bring all the experience I have to the 1st team with the intent to push and motivate my teammates.

I have only been part of the UCL fencing club for a month but already have made a lot of friends and have shared wins and losses with my teammates… Cambridge… nonetheless, I am planning on doing my best in being the best version of a 1st team captain I can be, supporting, hyping and helping my team to achieve the highest level of success they can.

Chung Wu

I am standing because I want to lead the Men's 1st Team and outperform in the BUCS matches. It is important for a captain to maintain the team bonding of the team, which I have plenty of experience from when I was the President of the club. I want to bring the Men's 1st Team closer together and I intend to hold after-match social events to strengthen the bonding of the team.
