Hana Poche

Given that it was a policy competition that originally led to me being involved in European Horizons, I understand how integral the research aspect is to the society. Not only can an active and varied research activity be incredibly insightful and helpful to the society’s members, it can also be an enjoyable and effective way of fostering a community. In that vein, I am committed to continuing and developing the numerous policy and research workshops and competitions the society organizes, in addition to the projects conducted with other chapters and societies.

I have extensive legal research and writing experience with a particularly strong interest in EU law, which I am certain can bring a new perspective to the society and its research.  I am also sure that my legal experience can translate into policy experience well, since I am greatly passionate about it and want to develop it by myself further. I am notoriously a perfectionist and will most definitely be losing sleep over the work. Most importantly, I am deeply social and open-minded, which is ultimately what the society’s research activities should be about – being fulfilling, interesting, and fun.
