Riza Mirza

From being the Head of Logistics at the Humanitarian Society to working for a social enterprise under Enactus UK and even being nominated for the University of Gothenburg Summer School for Sustainability, I have seized every opportunity to work for ideas that are morally correct and ethically aligned. In my first year at Enactus, I was fortunate enough to work get the opportunity to work with CorStitch, a sustainable fashion brand aiming to combat elderly poverty. I would like to continue being a part of an organization that believes in developing a generation of new leaders who believe it is a moral imperative to lead with integrity.
Whether it was being the Student Ambassador or the Head of Logistics in the Humanitarian society, or simply a management role, like being the event manager of a TEDx event, I have ample organizational experience, making me suitable for the position of Events Director. Being an Events Director would give me allow me to convert society's vision into reality. As a leader, I believe in having a humble base, a grounded stand, where the fight forward is not only for myself, but a platform where I empower the whole organization.

Ananya Toshniwal

Hello everyone! To introduce myself, I’m Ananya and am currently in my penultimate year of the BSc Management Science course. I am running for the role of Events Director as it is a perfect integration of my interest in event planning and social impact.

I thoroughly enjoy working behind the scenes to make events possible. Furthermore, I believe that I have picked up some expertise running back-end operations through my prior roles as the UCL TEDx Event Manager and the city lead of a NPO, Chattr Chhaya (to support low-wage earning labourers). These experiences helped me hone my communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills that are directly transferable to the Events Head role.

For these reasons, I believe that I’d make a good candidate and if you think so too, do vote for me! I wish all candidates the best of luck :)
