I have been producing for 8 years, starting with dance music and since then branching out to other genres like pop and rock as well. As head of production I hope to really push education in the society - teaching new and more experienced producers the ins and outs of writing, production and engineering, and have many more studio sessions and socials focused on helping people collaboratively make the best music they can. There will also be a focus on inclusion and inspiring as many new people as possible to pick up a DAW for the first time and make some music!

Hi! I'm a 1st year History student who's been part of EMS for the past year and loved it. I'm standing for head of production as I feel my skill-set and musical tastes would overall provide a refreshing perspective for people interested learning more about music production. I love producing, having done it as a hobby on-and-off since I was 14. As a result, I would consider myself decently proficient in FL Studio, which is the main DAW I use. My general approach to sound design is to never sit still; I don't just produce one genre, but try to explore lots of different styles, primarily those that veer on the experimental side, such as industrial, noise, IDM, sample-based music, whilst still also trying my hand at the conventional club-oriented house, techno, DnB etc. I feel that my eclectic, well-rounded experience would therefore put me in an ideal position to communicate and teach various different people on how to produce. Lastly, I've always learned on the job, and am still learning more and more myself. I feel this hands-on approach would mean that my skill-set is not only varied, but easy for others to digest as well. Thanks so much for reading, I hope to count on your vote!
