Debating Society: Publicity Officer

Hi everyone! I'm Manca and I have been your Publicity Officer this year. I have thoroughly enjoyed creating and managing our online community, interacting with you, and delivering you some quality content. I'd be delighted to continue the work next year.

My achievements as Publicity Officer:

• Reviving our social media and creating an online community and platform for our members to engage and communicate with the committee
• Branding our society – giving it an online presence, a distinct character, getting recognition
• Creating engaging social media content and effectively informing our members of what is going on in the society
• Communicating with our members and external people
• Collaborating with other UCL societies and Student Union

My plans for the future:

• Continuing working towards ever more inclusive and engaging social media platforms
• Even more active presence on Twitter, getting recognition of the society beyond UCL
• Greater collaboration with other UCL societies (e.g. regarding public debates, etc.) for a better advertisement of our society and events on campus
• Creating reels or other short videos of what we do in our society - I might even make a documentary for one of my modules:)
