Hey everyone! I am Danilo and I would love to be your welfare officer! I love Hellenic and Cypriot culture and I really would love to be on the committee - it would be a dream come true! As welfare officer, I would regularly check in with all members and provide resources and support to all. I will be there for everyone and help with any issues. I have a lot of experience as welfare officer and I will use this next year. I will also ensure that I can help members as much as I can and that regular feedback is collected so that the society is as best as it can be! I have a lot of experience with societies and committees - I have been on the committee of 39 societies and I have founded 2 others - and this has given me a lot of the skills necessary, as well as a lot of connections, making it easier to organise collabs next year! I will help organise a lot of events (such as clubnights, food events, collabs, speed friendings, movie nights and many more). I also would love to help reintroduce the Greek Language classes so that members have the opportunity to learn Greek. I will help make the society the very best it can be! :)

Hi, I'm Christos Antoniou and I am currently in my first year studying Economics and Statistics. I am standing for the position of Welfare Officer.

 

My aim for next year is to work with the committee in order to establish and ensure a safe and inclusive society for everyone. Promoting a friendly environment and creating a strong sense of community where everyone will be able to express any problems without hesitation. Our society must be a place where we feel at home and act as an outlet through which its members can solve and go through the difficulties of being a university student.

 

I consider myself to be an approachable and trustworthy person, and I want to make sure that in the near future you will be able to communicate any issues or queries with the utmost confidentiality.

 

I am confident that we can create a welcoming community that serves the interests of all its members enabling us to make the most of our university experience.
