Summary of proposed changes
- Change of name to 'UCL Voices for Children Society'. Our society has been planning a name change for some time. We were previously affiliated with UNICEF but the partnership ended several years ago and we no longer receive support or communication from them. Since then, we have built partnerships with a range of children’s charities across London and the UK, for which we fundraise and provide volunteers. We now want to expand our reach, but our current name has limited us as it gives the impression that we are still affiliated with UNICEF and act solely in its interests. Reflecting our broader mission, core activities, and collaborations with multiple children’s charities, we have decided to rename our society UCL Voices for Children.
