I am standing for social media manager because I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Snooker and Pool club, especially the social and coaching sessions, and I want to help grow the community that I love. With my experiences of being part of the publications and social media departments of other societies, I am excited to bring my skills to a society I am genuinely passionate about. My goal is to make our social media presence more dynamic and engaging. I plan to increase the frequency of social media posts (e.g. Instagram posts, reels, etc.), to create varied, eye-catching designs to appeal to a wider audience, whether they are experienced players or newcomers, and to highlight the best moments, such as match highlights, member spotlights and event promotions. By keeping our content engaging and consistent, I hope to help the society grow and connect with even more people who share our enthusiasm for snooker and pool. I am confident that with my experience in managing social media and passion for the sport, I can bring fresh ideas to the role and help the society reach new heights.
