Padel Tennis Club: Welfare Officer

I’d like to nominate myself for Welfare Officer of the Padel Society because this club has formed such a positive part of my time at uni, and I want to help make sure others have that same experience. I joined as a beginner, not knowing anyone or much about padel, but everyone was friendly and supportive from the start- and that made a huge difference.

In this role, I’d focus on making the society as welcoming and inclusive as possible, whether it’s through being someone people can talk to, checking in with new members, or helping create a supportive atmosphere at sessions and socials. I’m approachable, empathetic, and genuinely care about people’s wellbeing, on and off the court.

I’d really love the chance to give back to a community that’s made my year so enjoyable, and to help make sure everyone feels part of it.
