I am passionate about running for the position of a welfare officer of the Amnesty committee, firstly, because I believe I am a naturally altruistic individual and it brings me joy to take care of others around me. I also work well under pressure, so feeling the weight of responsibility for the well-being of all the club members on my shoulders would only make me more focused and motivated to work. Organisation and planning are other key skills of mine, which I believe, would make me a great addition to the team.

My aim for this academic year as a Welfare Officer, would be to maximise the comfort of all the members of Amnesty by making sure everyone feels heard and included. I want to do this by implementing an anonymous feedback system, where all the members could submit any questions or concerns relating any club affairs. Additionally, I am motivated to organise a series of fun and enriching welfare events throughout the year with the members’ collaboration. I believe that by prioritizing welfare of the club members we can optimise our productivity as a team.
