Hi everyone,

Coming to UCL as a state school student was a big shock for me last year, and from speaking to friends, and fellow members of the 93% club, I have come to realise that I was certainly not alone in feeling this way! Something reassuring is this shock definitely gets better, and surrounding yourself with a positive community does wonders. 

This is exactly why I would love to be your welfare and communications officer, to help others -  especially those in their first year at UCL -  to settle in, feel welcomed, and feel confident about your belonging in the student community. 

Since becoming your interim welfare and communications officer at the start of the year, I have helped get the word out there about the club and have encouraged lots of you to get involved! Meeting so many other members at our socials has been a really positive experience and it is something I would love to be able to continue to do.
