Having made the choice to quit eating meat just six months ago, I have already felt the need for community and support as it can be very difficult! Returning from Year Abroad, I was excited to begin as interim Treasurer and organising events and promotion during induction week was a lot of fun. I am great with numbers and have already performed the duties of this role with success and accuracy. It would be excellent to keep going as treasurer and continue growing VegSoc's presence at UCL with collaborations and events.
