Ukrainian Society: Communications Manager

As a Charity Ambassador at my previous school, I represented Ukrainian students affected by the war who studied on bursaries. I helped raise awareness by giving speeches and creating videos that shared my story and encouraged donations to support bursary programmes for displaced students. This experience taught me how powerful communication can be in connecting people, inspiring empathy, and driving real change.

During such a difficult time for our country, I believe Ukrainians abroad have a dual role — not only to spread awareness about what is happening at home but also to create opportunities that bring us together, remind us of our shared identity, and offer a sense of belonging away from home. As Communications Manager, I would be committed to representing our community with warmth, professionalism, and genuine dedication.

I am very keen on organising events and promoting our community at UCL. I want to use creative communication and social media to strengthen the Ukrainian Society’s presence, engage more students, and highlight our culture and achievements.
