I have really enjoyed my time with SIHS this year, and would love the chance to give back to the society!
In terms of running for the role of treasurer, thought I have not held this role previously at any other society, I have held a leadership role with another society at UCL. With this role, I needed to have and was able to work on organisation, people management, communication and teamwork. I think these skills and qualities will transfer to the role as treasurer, and I hope to continuing improving on these in the position - I think that SIHS provides one of the best places to do this.
I also like to bring my enthusiasm to whatever work I do, including this, and I hope that has already been reflected in my engagement with the society so far. Along with that, I believe transparency is key to everything from the sort of discussions we have at SIHS to the running of the society as a whole, and so, will bring this to the position too.
I would like to also say that I believe anyone from the society running would be a great fit for the role, so do not hesitate to vote!
