Student Action for Refugees Society: Treasurer

Hi!

My name is Gauri and I am a Y2 History and Politics of the Americas student! I am currently serving as interim Treasurer of STAR and hope to be appointed fully for this upcoming year with your help! I am super passionate about refugee rights, growing up having worked with a local refugee charity for 5 years. It was there where I was touched by the stories of those who were searching for a better life, and decided I want to dedicate my life to ensuring everyone deserves a community and place to call home. 

Having served as interim treasurer, I have completed training and have the necessary knowledge to help maximise the benefit we as a group are able to do! 

I hope to continue to further STAR's mission and impact this year with all of you <3
