Election post
Hi! My name is Robin, a Master's student studying Construction Management. Theatre has been a massive part of my life for the past 8 years, having been able to take part in loads of ways from acting to backstage/tech to some directing! I would like to nominate myself for freshers rep, as I know how important it is for new people to feel welcome in a society. Whether you are a first year, first time at uni or a postgrad like me, being new can be super daunting and having a familiar face at socials, shows or events can really help. I also believe I could bring some experience, having been on the committee multiple times during my undergrad for the drama society, allowing me to bring a new perspective to stage crew. For a lot of new people, like me, this is probably their first time living in London, and therefore my main goal as freshers rep is help support anyone who needs it or simply someone to talk to.
