Spanish and Latin American Society: Head of Social Events

I'm running for Head of Social Events because I want to strengthen our sense of community and make the Spanish Society a true home for anyone passionate about the Spanish language and culture. University life can sometimes feel fragmented and for many of us, make us miss the vibrancy of home.

My priority is to bring people together - whether you're a native speaker, a learner, or simply curious about Spain and Latin America. This society has incredible potential to be both lively and inclusive, and my goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere through a mix of fun and engaging activities: tapas nights, mouse game-nights, salsa classes, language exchanges, film screenings, and collaborations with other UCL and London societies.

I would love to contribute my energy and ideas to make that happen. If elected, I'll work hard to ensure every event captures the spirit and diversity that define Hispanic culture.
