Elected
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
Less society planning stress thoughts and litty vibes I'd love to enforce greater organisation and better quality-of-life experience for all societies!! <3
- 'Snacks included' ≠ 'Crisps, a box of Celebrations, and an artichoke dip': budgeting isn't always in favour for smaller societies! Event costs shouldn't always be contingent on a society's popularity!!
- Cheeky society mix and match: no need to try to re-invent the wheel every month 😁😁 more (good) chaos
and less one-sided society beef - Streamlined events approval /srs: so there aren't 2:01AM WhatsApp announcements / 'figuring it out' sessions
What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
Tenacity, organisation, ambition, Red Bull 4 pack, Zyn, my Tesco employee discount...
- My last Pharmacology lecture pre-reading skimming skills - I can break down what's realistic, what we can be hopeful for, and balance it out for tangible and meaningful changes - and I will show up... I'm not wasting all that reading for nothing...
- My Geoguessr >4.5k streak - repping is about strategy, details, discernment!!
- "My biggest weakness is my perfectionism..." - no but I'm highkey obsessive over what I want to do: debates, music recitals, exhibitions, I always will push myself to present the very best
Please summarise why students should vote for you.
TLDR to the ones who couldn't be asked to read: please scroll up and read :(((
- I'll always advocate for balanced funding, collaborations, streamlined organisation
- I'm capable for this role because of my ability to balance things, my awareness, and my engagement
I can summarise my campaign in one sentence. Allow me to quote the wise words of Russian philosopher Yeltsa Kcir: "I'm never gonna give you up, never gonna give let you down" ♡♡♡
And if I win, I'll post a Katseye dance cover too but someone's gotta dance with me
