As a linguist, I understand the great privilege of experiencing another culture not as a tourist, but as one of the locals.

Without a doubt, my connection with Portuguese is the strongest out of all the languages I speak. For me, it’s never been about merely perfecting grammar or memorising thousands of words- it is to feel the essence of the language and the soul of those who speak it. (That being said, don’t worry, I have a C2 certificate in European Portuguese, so I am no stranger to the most intricate grammar or tricky vocab.) 

I would love to share my knowledge of Portuguese with anyone who is willing to learn in an organised, practical way. Language is about having fun, but you need good structure for good results!
