Hi, my name is Godfrey. I am a first-year student from Hong Kong and the principal oboe of the orchestra, and I am putting myself forward for Social Secretary because I would love to be more involved and contribute to the community.
As an international student, I know how important it is to feel welcomed and supported in a new environment. That experience has made me especially committed to creating socials where everyone feels included, whether you’re new to the society, settling into a new country, or already deeply rooted here. On the other hand, being principal oboe has taught me responsibility and collaboration, and I’d love to bring that same energy and care to the society as a whole. I’m ready to listen, help shape meaningful events, and keep our community vibrant.
