Moroccan Society: Welfare Officer

Hey! I’m Rayane, a second-year Civil Engineering student at UCL. This year, I’ve been serving as the interim Treasurer for the UCL Moroccan Society, which has allowed me to get involved with the society’s activities and support the team in organizing successful events for our members.

While I’ve really enjoyed my role as Treasurer, I’ve realized that my skills and interests align more closely with the Welfare Officer position. I’m particularly passionate about creating a supportive, welcoming, and inclusive environment where all members feel heard, valued, and involved.

Through my experience in the committee, I’ve learned the importance of communication, teamwork, and empathy in building a strong community, and I’m confident that as Welfare Officer, I can contribute to making our society an even more positive and engaging space for everyone.
