Candidates

Lina Khayat

Born and raised in Morocco, I have not only learned to understand Moroccan values but also to embody them, especially generosity and warmth. These are traits I am proud to carry wherever I go.
As a candidate for Vice President of the Moroccan Society, my goal is to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, not only Moroccans but also those who wish to discover and experience our culture.
With my previous experience as a Vice President, I hope to bring creative ideas and fresh initiatives to strengthen our community spirit and make our activities even more engaging. I am passionate about teamwork, cultural exchange and finding meaningful ways to celebrate who we are.

Camelia Benlamlih

Hello everyone! My name is Camelia Benlamlih, and I’m a first-year MEng student in Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering. I was born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, and I carry my country in my heart wherever I go. Joining the Moroccan Society has been one of the most meaningful ways for me to stay connected to my roots, and now I want to give back by helping our community grow even stronger.

As Vice President, I will dedicate myself to representing our culture with pride, warmth, and unity. I’m deeply committed to strengthening the bonds between Moroccan students, creating a space where everyone feels at home, and sharing our traditions and energy with the wider UCL community.

I’m full of ideas — from cultural events and collaborations with other societies to initiatives that make newcomers feel welcome and supported. I’m reliable, approachable, and driven, and I will always listen to your suggestions and work hard to make them happen.

My motivation comes from love for Morocco and the belief that our society can be both a family and a bridge to the world.

Vote for me for Vice President — together, let’s make the Moroccan Society shine brighter than ever!
