Hi! I’m Maia, and I’d love to be your next Welfare Officer for the Medieval Society.
Why? Because I’m reliable, approachable, and I genuinely care about the wellbeing of everyone in our community. I want our society to be a place where people can unwind, be themselves, and feel supported during our events, socials, or just in the group chat.
I know that uni life is stressful, and societies like ours can be such a great source of friendship and comfort. As Welfare Officer, I’d make sure everyone feels included, listened to, and valued. I’ll happily check in on people, help with any welfare concerns, and make sure our events are accessible and welcoming to all.
I’m organised, dependable, and always up for a chat (chronically online). Ultimately, I want to help create a friendly, supportive atmosphere where everyone feels like they belong, whether you’ve been here for years or you’ve just wandered in for the first time.
