Being part of the UCL Italian Society has been a way to feel at home, to build real connections with people who share my language and my culture. Coming from Italy, I’ve always cherished the deep sense of belonging and warmth that defines our culture, and I want to help recreate that same feeling here at UCL, helping new students settle in and giving everyone the chance to connect, have fun, and feel part of something meaningful. The more time I spent in the Society, the more I felt I wanted to make a real difference, both by helping shape our events and by being there for the community that makes them meaningful. That’s what motivates me to run for Vice President.

Looking ahead, I want our events to feel fresh and engaging. The aim is to create opportunities for members to meet each other, spark conversation, and experience the best of our culture. Whether social, cultural, or something new, I want to build an environment where people feel comfortable showing up, getting involved, and forming real connections. For me, this role is about strengthening a community with real potential and making sure every member feels included.

Making all of this work depends on strong teamwork. For me, leadership means supporting the President, keeping communication clear, and helping the committee function in a focused and organised way. I’m organised, enthusiastic, and genuinely committed to helping the Italian Society grow into an even more welcoming space, full of energy and opportunities.
