Iranian Society: Events Secretary

I would love to join the Iranian Society Committee as I value diversity and representation, which as a southern Iranian (bandari), I see a lack of within the Iranian community and diaspora. I love culture, whether thats learning or spreading it and being in the committee would not only aide with that within the society but also across other societies too. Especially since i would be event's planner and could even coordinate events with other societies like ours eg arab and North African society

I have already helped out with events planning for this year, especially with the movie night and the games night we just had. I also have done events planning at my school previously such as many charity events like raising money for turkiye-syria earthquake through a valentines day card sale or bake sale for my india trip where i taught kids english, drama, music and art. I've also ran my school's first Islamic Society and led events such as iftar night. I enjoy leading events as a whole and have many ideas like m a girl's night or field trips perhaps! Due to being a first year PIR student, I believe i have enough time to balance my work and my role as events planner. I'm exteremly commited and enthusiastic, and even if I don't get the role, I would still love to help out
