Pooja Sree Murugakannan

I'm standing for Treasurer at UCL In Aid of UNICEF because sound financial stewardship is vital to turning our passion into powerful action. Managing the society's financial matters with transparency and care ensures that every pound we spend directly supports the causes that inspire us. With a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail, I am dedicated to accurately authorising and recording all expenditures and ensuring reimbursements are made fairly and efficiently.

My goal is to provide clear and trustworthy financial oversight so that we can focus confidently on what matters most- Creating lasting impact through our volunteering efforts.

If you value accountability, precision and a committed approach to managing resources that fuel meaningful change, I would be honoured to serve as treasurer and help maximise our positive reach.

Ayesha Malik

I would love to be Treasurer because I genuinely believe in the society's mission to make a real difference in children’s lives through collective action and compassion. I’ve been involved in human rights advocacy and community engagement for several years, and I’ve seen how even small initiatives can create real impact when they’re driven by empathy and integrity. In the future, I plan to work in the field of human rights, and I see this position as an opportunity to combine that passion with practical responsibility through ensuring transparency and accountability, and efficiently using funds to support meaningful causes.

As someone with experience in organizing events, managing collaborations, and working in both non-profit and policy settings, I’m confident in my ability to handle the financial side of the society with care and precision. More than anything, I want to contribute to a community that is built on purpose,  where fundraisers, campaigns, and events genuinely reflect our shared commitment to justice and humanity, and make tangible, lasting impacts in children’s lives.

Yeni Oduwaiye

Hi everyone! My name is Yeni, and I'm a second-year Chemical Engineering student.

Having recently joined the society, I've really enjoyed meeting so many new people who are just as passionate as I am about creating a better world for children. That's why I'm keen to support this community further by putting myself forward as Treasurer.

Being a STEM student, I'm pretty comfortable with numbers, I've worked with countless spreadsheets, and I love problem-solving. Given life in London, you'll also catch me budgeting pretty often already!  Using these skills, I'd love to help the society run smoothly by making sure our funds are managed clearly and efficiently. I'm also excited to be the human calculator making sure we can plan even more great fundraising and social events.

I'd love to see this society grow, and I'd be really happy to play a part in making that happen. Thanks for reading, and I'd really appreciate your vote!

Adam Cleary

I'm here to help and I think I would be an asset to the society.

I have experience working with children in many different capacities:
As a teaching assistant in 6th From
Helping as a scout leader in my local area for the past two and a half years
I am currently a private tutor
Teach children to code in scratch and python

I also have a portfolio of other volunteering experience from serving meals to the homeless, to gardening support, to preventing food waste here at UCL!

I have experience working as a Treasurer for several different societies and have a comprehensive understanding of the Union's internal systems and how to organise events

I have extensive contacts throughout societies at UCL, and have been representing Students in Representative Zones for over a year, I am currently working on pushing policies surrounding pedestrianisation and officer accountability.

Thank you for considering me!
