Election post
I am nominating myself for the role of Giving Voice Communications Officer because I am passionate about raising awareness of the importance and impact of speech and language therapy. As a second-year MSc Speech and Language Therapy student, I am enthusiastic about advocating for the profession and sharing its value with a wider audience. I believe effective communication is at the heart of what we do as SLTs, and I would love to use my skills to help spread the Giving Voice message.
I also bring relevant experience from running the social media accounts of another charity, where I developed engaging content and promoted key campaigns. This experience has given me confidence in using social media strategically and creatively to inspire others and highlight important causes. I would be excited to bring this experience and my enthusiasm for SLT advocacy to the Giving Voice team.
