I’m standing for this role because I’m deeply passionate about global health and humanitarian medicine. My interest began after witnessing my grandfather’s care in India, where I saw firsthand how limited access to medical resources can shape patient outcomes. This experience, along with my epidemiology research internship at Barts Charity investigating health inequalities in East London, strengthened my drive to address disparities in healthcare access. As a UCL medical student and Biomedical Engineering graduate, I’m committed to using research and advocacy to raise awareness of pressing social issues around the world, including the ongoing crises in Palestine and Sudan, and to help build a society that acts on compassion and equity in medicine.
