I am excited to stand for the position of Communications Officer for the European Society, as I believe that connecting people and celebrating our diverse cultures are at the heart of a vibrant community—especially within a university as international as UCL. The society has been a meaningful part of my experience here, and I would love the opportunity to continue contributing to it.

Having served as Communications Officer this past year, I’ve found the role incredibly rewarding. From welcome and cultural fairs to diplomacy and political events, each occasion has deepened my appreciation for the society’s values. I’m eager to build on this experience by further enhancing our communications and ensuring every member feels informed, engaged, and inspired to take part.

What I admire most about the European Society is its ability to bring together students from all backgrounds while also raising awareness of important political and cultural issues—something increasingly vital in today’s world.

I value teamwork and approachability, and I aim to create an environment where everyone feels heard and supported. My experience leading teams and organising a book club has taught me how to bring people together and keep projects running smoothly, even under pressure.

I’m passionate about continuing in this role and helping our society connect, celebrate, and grow. I’d be honoured to have your support.
