Election post
Hi everyone! I'm Grace and I would love to be one of your ball officers this year! I think these events are such a great way for everyone to come together and celebrate all of our successes and achievements over the academic year in a really fun way. Of course, the planning of these events is so important to make everyone enjoys themselves and has a night to remember, and I would love to be able to be part of this!
I have previously helped to organise my school prom, which involved reaching out to people to find venues, organising catering as well as finding decorations to add the finishing touches, all while staying within a strict budget. Additionally, I have worked in customer-facing roles for a few years now, which I feel has helped me develop the attributes necessary for communicating with different vendors and reaching out to companies, venues etc.
I will be sure to gather feedback on last year's ball in order to see which aspects everyone enjoyed and, equally, which aspects, if any, could be improved upon, in order to make this the most memorable EISPS ball! As a second year especially, I would really love for everyone to have an amazing night together before our year abroad in third year!
