I'm standing for this role as a postgraduate student in Energy Systems and Data Analytics, deeply passionate about energy transition. I bring the academic background and enthusiasm to use this position to strengthen the society’s external collaborations and increase our society's exposure in order to create meaningful connections. I'm going to let my credentials speak for themselves:

• Chemical Engineer (First-Class Honours)
• Work experience in the hydrogen domain
• Sustainable Development Ambassador during my undergraduate studies
• Winner of two competitions for pitching solutions to mitigate climate change
• Events Officer for my cultural club

These achievements reflect my dedication to sustainability and outreach. I’ve learned to adapt, work with all kinds of people, and turn good ideas into great events. An External Events Officer needs to be organised, outgoing, and a bit of a social butterfly and luckily, that’s me (on a good day ofcourse)!
