I’m standing for Energy Journal Editor because I’m passionate about communicating the ideas shaping the energy transition. As an MSc student in Energy Economics with an undergraduate degree in PPE, I’ve developed strong knowledge of the policies and technologies driving the energy sector, drawing on a range of different disciplines. I would love to bring these perspectives to my role as the Energy Journal Editor, where I would advocate for showcasing energy issues from as wide a range of perspectives as possible, from niche technologies to shifting geopolitical dynamics. I would also love to increase the visibility of the journal to ensure it reaches as many people as possible.

Before my master’s, I gained extensive professional experience in finance working at EY for four years. My role included lots of responsibility managing small teams and reviewing junior team members' work, so I’m well-versed in supporting others and giving constructive feedback. I hope to apply this to my role as editor, supporting all the contributors whilst ensuring the quality of the Energy Journal is upheld. Looking ahead beyond UCL, I’m hoping to pursue on a career in energy research, so I would love for the role to act as a platform to develop my skills in writing and communicating about the energy transition whilst helping to create genuinely insightful and unique content which engages students in one of the most important issues of our time
