Election post
I want to stand for Careers Officer because I am genuinely passionate about helping others find their place within the criminal justice field. I have always been fascinated by how the justice system affects people’s lives and by the ways it can be made fairer, more effective and more compassionate.
Through my volunteering with legal advice and community outreach projects, I have seen first-hand how access to opportunities and the right support can transform someone’s future. As Careers Officer, I would work to bring that same sense of possibility to our members by connecting students with inspiring professionals, from solicitors and probation officers to campaigners and policy experts. I would like to organise practical events that make career paths in criminal justice feel more accessible, while also highlighting the human stories behind the work we study. Most of all, I want to help our society become a space where curiosity, ambition and a shared commitment to justice come together.
