Bulgarian Society: Welfare Officer

To whom it may concern, 

I am writing to nominate myself for the position of Welfare Officer within the Bulgarian Society. I believe this role is essential to maintaining a supportive and inclusive community, and I am confident that my experience and values align with those responsibilities.

As an Academic Representative for the History course, I have strengthened my understanding of student wellbeing and the challenges students often face, and developed the ability to advocate for fair and empathetic solutions.

If elected, I would focus on:

• Ensuring members always get appropriate support.

• Promoting a friendly and approachable environment where everyone feels welcome.

• Working closely with the committee to make welfare considerations for all society events and decisions.
