Election post
Hi, this is Miranda, running for President.
If you haven’t seen me at the BMLSoc events this year, you haven’t been to an event. Needless to say, I have a soft spot for UCL Bioethics and Medical Law Society. From the academic talks, to the monthly STEMathons we host; I love that we bring a community of students from different disciplines to foster communications surrounding the very things that affect us regardless of background.
A snippet from my manifesto last year: I want to foster accessibility in scary, jarring discussions in the fields of bioethics and medical law; to reach the average person, and understand how and why it is we should know about the underlying ethics behind clinical applications, and most importantly - for you to learn and have fun through understanding the various aspects of bioethics and medical law!
Vote for me to see more in Term 2!
