You could benefit from a new initiative that will improve access to contraception

Rachel, your Welfare and Community Officer, is pleased to bring you a new initiative with Contraception Direct. Funded by the NHS, the scheme will offer students the chance to have their contraception mailed to their door, at no cost.

The service is remote and will allow users to request contraception via an online questionnaire, followed by a phone consultation with a pharmacist. After consultation, the prescribed medication is sent to the user by post. It’s as simple as that!

This will allow users to avoid having to typically go to the GP, having an appointment, and then going to collect medication.

For students who may not be registered with a GP in their new city, this initiative will allow you to access contraception by providing an easy, remote option that will avoid delays and any need to get medication sent from home.
