Monthly makeup workshop
Free to our standard and advance members, explore different styles of make up with our workshop coordinator. From water activated liner to glam look, get ready to be creative with your skin as your canvas. If you are a non-member looking to join us for single class, please get the Single Workshop Pass before booking a place.
Photoshoot sessions
Thematic photoshoot session in collaborate with UCL Photography Society to record your creative looks. Selected photos will be published in The MUA Journal and digital copies will also be available.
Opportunities to be MUA for performers
Join our external crew to be MUA for performers in student shows and external events. Could it be a Victorian style make up on stage, aging make up or prosthetic for films?
Membership types
The Standard membership give you free access to student-led workshops, some socials, and get you cheap tickets to our bigger socials in collaboration with other societies and workshops featuring external make up artists. Our workshops will have a large range catering members from beginners to confident artists, including daily make up, drag and theatre make up.
The Advanced membership are for members who are interested in doing make up for other student projects. Regardless of your makeup skill, the advanced membership gives our access to be part of our amazing makeup crew. Last year we did makeup for UCL Drama. Film, Theatre, K-POP, and MODO (Fashion Society). You will be provided high quality and specialised make up product as the MUA team of various projects in and outside of UCL, ranging from stage performance to outdoor filming. You also will be able to write for the termly MUA Journal, and grab a copy of your vey own!! Furthermore, you will also have access for the professional grade photoshoot which will be printed in the journal.
