Threading the Eye: A Crypt Gallery Exhibition - ERA Journal

Era hosted an exhibition in the Crypt Gallery underneath the St. Pancras New Church in Euston. The event was massively successful, attended by over 300 people and showcasing pieces from over 31 student artists.


Best Contributor to the Arts

Vanessa Chan

As Diversity and Inclusion Officer for UCL Drama Society, as well as the Executive Producer of Pride Festival, Vanessa has been a force behind ensuring the artsUCL community celebrates difference.


Best Small Production

Fusions: A Musical Documentary - Jazz Society

FUSIONS was a unforgettable experience focused on displaying the development of jazz fusion music over the last 60 years. The fantastic musicianship of the cast created an exciting and unique small production.


Best Media Piece

TERF Out Transphobia: The IOE and “Academic Freedom” - Cheesegrater Magazine

Mads Brown provided an essential platform for queer student voices. This piece was heavily researched and eloquently created to shine a light on transphobia on campus and why that needs to change.

Drama Society

The UCL Drama Society has continued to go above and beyond to ensure diversity and inclusion through their events, uplifting marginalised LGBTQ+ and BAME communities, as well as creating opportunities for members of all experience levels.


Best Design

Rhapsody 2024: Legacy - Live Music Society & Stage Crew Society

In collaboration with UCL Stage Crew Society, the design of every element of the show was thoughtfully planned to help bring cohesion to the larger production while also allowing each song to stand on its own.


Best Individual Performance

Eugenie Ng - Chess: The Musical (Musical Theatre Society)

Eugenie's strong stage presence was felt from the moment she entered the stage as Svetlana. It is not easy to simultaneously portray such emotion and strength in a character, and Eugenie did this effortlessly.


Best Publication

Cheesegrater Magazine

This year has been particularly successful for the Cheesegrater, with two pieces having been shortlisted at the Student Publication Association Awards and Investigations Editor Rebekah Wright being Highly Commended for ‘Best Journalist’ in London.


Most Developed Arts Society of the Year

Drag Society

In a year, Drag Society have gone from an idea to having gained 70+ members and delivering six drag shows at Mully's!


Arts Personality of the Year

Maya Khurana

Maya has been heavily involved in multiple societies, from Stage Crew to Live Music. She been on stage, backstage, producing, designing, championing and representing. She’s really done it all!


Best Bloomsbury Production

The Producers - Musical Theatre Society

The whole show was a spectacle, with huge, slick dance numbers and captivating costumes. The humour and showmanship from the cast created a captivating production that wowed audiences each night.
