In Term 3, artsUCL Fringe Festival productions can book up to 5 hours of rehearsal space a week via our booking system.
Room bookings can be made for the Bloomsbury Theatre Rehearsal Room every day between 10am - 5pm. Evening room bookings can be made in the Haldane Room or Ivory Room, on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6pm - 10pm.
Please check the room booking form below for room availability in the Haldane Room and Ivory Room as they will be available on alternating weeks.
If your production is supported by a Society, please consider asking the President to book you a room via regular SU/UCL processes instead, as non-Society affiliated productions are unable to access this process.
Key Details:
- Bookings will be released every two weeks, and bookings can be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Slots will be released for the next two weeks on Mondays.
- After booking, you’ll receive an email confirmation for your reserved time.
Space Information:
- Bloomsbury Theatre Building Rehearsal Room: Wooden floor with a PC, speakers and projector available. The room also contains a piano, dance mirrors and ballet barre, and multiple fold-up chairs and tables. Capacity ~54. Located on the 1st floor of the Bloomsbury Theatre Building, 15 Gordon Street.
- Haldane Room: Wooden floor with a TV. Capacity ~60. Located in the North Cloisters, in the Wilkins Building, Gower St, London WC1E 6BT.
- Ivory Room: Wooden floor with a TV. Capacity ~60. Located in the South Cloisters, in the Wilkins Building, Gower St, London WC1E 6BT.
Booking Policies:
To ensure fair access to the rehearsal rooms, please note the following limits:
- Maximum 5 hours of rehearsal space a week per production
- Rooms are only available to artsUCL Fringe Festival productions
The artsUCL team will regularly review bookings, and any reservations exceeding these limits will be cancelled to accommodate other productions. If your booking is cancelled, you will receive a notification via email. You must not attend a booking if it has been cancelled.
