Local charity Manor Gardens Welfare Trust is putting on a Winter Wellbeing Festival on Monday 20th March between 12.30 and 4pm at Islington Assembly Hall on Upper Street N1.

The event’s on International Happiness Day to beat the winter blues by providing information from stalls about improving your own wellbeing, as well as interactive tasters throughout the afternoon. So far, we have booked Zumba, a singing workshop, poetry, yoga, painting and craft. We will have a compere and stallholders, volunteers and visitors will all be able to take part.

We need volunteers for a variety of roles.

Stewards, to greet people and tell them about what is happening.

Volunteers to help serve refreshments (hot drinks mainly).

Entertainment crew – to ensure that all the performers know when they are on and are ready for their next slot.

Photographers to take promotional shots of the event which we can use in our materials for the next year

All volunteers should be able to help clear up at the end.

Volunteers should be at the venue from 12 to 4.30, but willing to negotiate. All enquiries to Felicity Ford, felicity@manorgardenscentre.org
